- the most widely used skincare component
Aqua, the most widely used skincare component. It’s frequently included first in the ingredient list, indicating that it’s the most important component of the product. It is mostly used as a solvent for compounds which prefer to dissolve in water rather than oils.
Glycerin, A chemical that has been used for almost 50 years and is extremely common, safe, effective, and inexpensive. Not only a basic moisturizer, it also does a lot more: it retains the lipids between our skin cells in a healthy (liquid crystal) condition, protects against irritation, and aids in barrier restoration.
Paraffinum Liquidum, It’s an excellent emollient and moisturizer that works mostly through occlusivity. Mineral oil rests on top of the skin and prevents so-called trans-epidermal water loss, or water evaporating out of your skin, which is one of the core principles of how moisturizers operate. When compared to extra virgin coconut oil, a heavy-duty plant oil, both were equally effective and safe as moisturizers in treating xerosis, a skin condition associated with very dry skin.
It is white tube with cover with slight bluish touch. It comes with a silver foil cover that you must peel off before usage. However, I believe that an extra lid should have been included because the gel moisturizer tends to collect in the cap.
TEXTURE AND CONSISTENCY:
This Nivea soft moisturizer has a texture and consistency that I really like. It’s a soft gel that instantly hydrates you. It absorbs quickly into your skin and does not make you greasy due to its oil-free nature. It is so moisturizing that even people with dry skin may use it. It hydrates my combination-to-dry skin for over 5-6 hours on my combination-to-dry skin. I even use it in my night time skincare routine, and it keeps me moisturized all night.
I am using it from 3 last year and I am buying it repeatedly again and again .It is very light on my skin which makes my skin long lasting oil free. Nivea leaves my skin soft and it smells really good, not perfume loaded. I think the best skin softener.
